For teachers working with 1st to 6th graders.
We will demonstrate how LEGO StoryStarter consisting of bricks and figures can get students from 1st to 6th grade started building a story that matches their imagination. StoryStarter can be the hands-on tool to help kick-starting students’ creativity towards literacy skills, and to strengthen their collaborative skills. We’ll also show you the simple software tool StoryVisualizer. StoryVisualizer helps students to visualise and communicate their achievements. When completed their story, students can import the images of the scenes they have made into StoryVisualizer and bring their story to life in a variety of visual styles. The software is a very simple way for young students to collaborate with IT and media in the process of improving writing, language, and reading abilities.
If you want to check out the tools yourself we recommend you to bring your iPad and download the StoryVizualizer app.
