Digital Fabrication at dimeb

Toolkits and Artifacts

Handling technology creatively and discovering new ways of learning and of shaping technology proactively: This is what we invite various target groups to do in our wide range of digital fabrication workshops at the digital media in education group (dimeb) at the University of Bremen.

The target group we focus on particularly comprises children and adolescents. In a digital fabrication environment that encourages constructive learning, technological wonders come into existence, such as robots, smart clothes and many more. Our special emphasis is on gender sensitive topics that combine technology with body movements, arts and creativity.

At FabLearn, we showcase our EduWear kit and present a selection of innovative artefacts created by children and students with various digital fabrication technologies.
